How do I set up UltraKey to work with Mac OS X on a standalone computer?

Answer:

If you are using multiple users on Mac OS X the users that do not have system access will not be able to save in the local management directory unless you give them permission.

Follow these steps:

  1. In the Finder open the Applications folder, then open the UltraKey 4.0 folder.
  2. Select the folder called UKEYMGMT. Choose Get Info from the File menu or strike Command-I.
  3. On the Get Info dialog, unfold the panel "Ownership and Permissions".
  4. Set each of the menus beside Me, Group and Others to "Read and Write".
  5. Click the "Apply to enclosed folders" button.
  6. Close the Get Info dialog.
